Features

WorldFeed combines social media with the community around you.

Notable Features:

• Embed posts at real world locations and find them on a map or through a feed of recent/relevant posts.

• Securely chat with friends or other people in the world.

• Share member locations for Private Groups.

• Filter posts based on categories such as Family and Friends, Sports, News, Political, etc. so that you can easily find the posts that interest you, and hide the ones that don't.

• Join open groups for clubs or special interests, or make private groups, events, chats and albums just for yourself or family.  Albums are great for documenting trips or gatherings, and can work like a shared or completely private scrap book.

• Invite or accept other users that request to join your private groups and albums, as desired.

• For each post in your groups and albums you may set the audience to be just yourself, only members of the group, include your Followers, or Everyone.

• Post and comment anonymously or as yourself.  You may define up to 9 different profiles for business and/or personal use.

• Write fair reviews for any location you want – restaurants, parks, services, schools – you name it!

• All posts must follow the “Rules for Civil Discourse” or they will be immediately removed when reported anonymously by other users.

• You may dispute a post that has been reported and removed, if you believe that you did not violate any of the rules.

Privacy

The only personal information WorldFeed collects is your email address, your phone number (if you choose to add it to your profile), the locations you choose to place your posts, the photos and videos and text you choose to upload, the handles you choose to post under, and, temporarily, the locations you connect from.  Your email address and phone number are never shared or displayed to other users.

Your location data is never shared without your permission - it is used to query whether or not you are close enough from your chosen posting location (less than 25 miles) for the post to go through.  If you choose to post at your current location a special symbol will appear on the post indicating that you were at that location (this adds value to a post as it proves you were really there).  You may choose to save a draft of your post and upload it later after you are no longer at the location and it will still use the special symbol.  Posts made in other groups besides Public do not require a location.

You own the rights to all of your uploads (photos, videos, and messages) and may delete them from our servers at any time.  Do not upload photos or videos or copyrighted texts that do not belong to you, as this may open you up to legal consequences from the copyright owner.

All message, post, and comments may be reviewed by WorldFeed staff at any time to determine if the user should be banned from using the application for breaking rules.

1) You may not attack, threaten, abuse, bully or harass any person, organization, or place. No name calling, belittling, or flaming. Discuss ideas calmly and respect each other’s opinions.

2) No Adult Content in publicly viewable posts. Keep it kid-friendly.

3) No Doxxing. You may not reveal any other person’s identity or personal information.

4) Choose valid categories for public posts.

5) No Fake News. You are entitled to your opinions, but you are not permitted to spread falsehoods.

6) No Identity Theft. You may have anonymous or chosen identities, but you may not claim to be any real entity that is not you - this includes stolen pictures, name impersonation, and false claims. You may be required to prove your identity if it is called into question.

7) Falsely reporting posts that are not breaking any rules is a violation. The Thumbs Down button is not considered a report and may be used freely.

8) No Illegal Activity.

9) No Spam. Drivel and public posts with no merit will be considered spam.

Groups may define additional rules for membership and enforce them at their own discretion.

Rule Violations: Posts will be taken down when they are reported. Repeated violations may result in your whole account being Banned. You may dispute a report if you feel that it did not violate a rule or you may edit a Banned post and resubmit it, although that will not negate any negative marks.

All rules are enforced at the discretion of the WorldFeed Administrators. We will strive for fairness.
